Frustration -- Wednesday Dec 3—Thursday Dec 4

We have not been able to get online (wi-fi) for 2 days, nor talk to Andrew. We gave my Mom instructions to use Master Call Communications as a back-up, but she hasn’t called and we think she may be missing a “7” in the numbers to dial. Carolyn arrived on Thursday, so we hope they can figure it out. We have been able to get on dial-up, but Skype is not working with dial-up. When we dial, we can hear them, but they can not hear us! This is all very frustrating, as we get up an hour earlier to try to make connection. We will get a phone card to try that!

We went to an internet cafe for lunch today so we can upload some posts and pictures.

Adelyn is making great progress. She is on the verge of sitting on her own and can almost pull herself up to a sitting position on her own. She can get up on all fours and rock like she is going to crawl too. We got her translated to English medical report and we will send that to her international adoption doctor for evaluation. From what we can tell everything looks good. She is gaining weight and I think, very close to all her developmental milestones.

Two families went to court today (they arrived the week before us) and they were approved for their adoption. We will probably see our group again next month as we come to Almaty to finalize the process and take our newly adopted babies home.
