Today is Sunday.....again, we don't get to visit the Baby House on Sundays.
A group of 7 of us took taxis to the City Mall and then walked to the Bazaar. The Bazaar is where you do bargaining--it is mainly stalls outside with a variety of goods, including food, groceries, clothing and supplies. It was big, but actually the little one about a 10 minute walk from our hotel is nicer. After visiting the bazaar, we took taxis back to the City Mall and ate at Assorti again--3 nights in a row now! For anyone coming to Karaganda, Assorti is a must stop. They have "real" pizza with fresh dough crust--the closest thing to anything "American" we have eaten. We are all talking about taking a taxi to Assorti every night now! We also went to the TSUM mall and did some sovenir shopping. We managed to buy some teething gel for the baby after playing a game of charades with the Pharmacist. We will take it with us tomorrow.
After we got back to the hotel, we watched "A Christmas Story" on DVD on the computer. Since Wi-Fi is still down (is supposed to be fixed tomorrow) we can't upload any photos to the blog, we will once our wireless connection is back or we head to Cafe Karaganda again in town. Thanks to everyone that has left comments on the blog, sent e-mails or called our parents, it truly keeps us connected to home and we really look forward to hearing from everyone! The weather continues to cooperate--it has been sunny just about every day. We saw on CNN that the temperatures for Russia have been extremely mild for this time of the year, so we are very lucky in this respect.

Your weather is better there than in Erie. Glad you found your great place to eat & are having fun shopping. Enjoy the days with Adelyn until you head home

Hi guys! Everything is great here. Really like spending time with Andrew. He has his moments but I just love the things he comes up with. He had a good day in school today. Tomorrow he has basketball after school and we still have to think of something for show and tell on Wed. Trying to have Wanda get back to her usual routine. Tonight we went shopping for Christmas presents at Toys R Us, stopped at Petco for kitty and Sadie toys, then to Party City for a few things for Andrew and me. We ate dinner at Bob Evans and Andrew finished his whole plate after 45 min! Can't wait to see you both Monday! Glad I will be able to spend some time you both.
Give Adelyn a kiss from all of us, tell her she has many Christmas Welcome Home gifts waiting for her....

Hello from Lynn and Glen! I hope you remember us, we met you at the CAH informational meeting when we came in with our daughter Krista Feb 8th. We are sooo happy for you!!What a beautiful baby!!! Enjoy every minute you have there, it's a very special time in your life and God has blessed you all! Leaving will be very difficult, but don't worry! Your future is settled and soon you will all be home. It will be the best moment when your two children and MaMa and PaPa are together at last!
